Check available internet options and their lead times, existing cabling condition, number and location of power outlets, comms room space and cooling, and mobile signal strength for backup connectivity. A pre-move site survey covering these areas prevents most of the connectivity surprises businesses hit on move-in day.
Confirm whether FTTP or a leased line is available at the address, and get realistic installation lead times before committing to a move date - leased lines can take 6 to 12 weeks.
