Business VoIP & Phone Systems
Cloud-Hosted Telephony, SIP Trunking & Microsoft Teams Voice
Hosted VoIP
Cloud-based business phone systems with advanced call routing, voicemail, auto-attendant and CRM integration. No hardware on-site, no maintenance headaches.
Microsoft Teams Voice
Make and receive external calls directly from Microsoft Teams. One platform for chat, video, meetings and phone calls — fully integrated with your existing Microsoft 365.
SIP Trunking
Connect your existing PBX to the internet for lower call costs and built-in disaster recovery. Keep your hardware investment while gaining modern flexibility.
Traditional phone lines are expensive, inflexible and holding your business back. VoIP replaces them with a modern, cloud-based system that costs less and does more.
We provide hosted VoIP phone systems, Microsoft Teams voice integration and SIP trunking through our partnership with Fidelity Group. We handle everything — from choosing the right system and configuring your handsets through to number porting, CRM integration and ongoing support. You get enterprise-grade telephony without the enterprise complexity.

Delivered in partnership with Fidelity Group
We've partnered with Fidelity Group — an award-winning UK hosted telephony provider — to deliver enterprise-grade VoIP solutions to businesses of all sizes. Their Horizon platform and our IT expertise means you get a phone system that's properly configured, integrated and supported.
Our approach to business VoIP
Understand How You Work
We don't sell phone systems — we solve communication problems. We start by understanding how your team actually works: who calls whom, how calls should be routed, what happens when someone's unavailable, and what integrations matter. Then we recommend the right solution.
Configure It Properly
A VoIP system is only as good as its setup. We configure call flows, auto-attendants, hunt groups, voicemail routing and user permissions properly from day one. We port your numbers, set up handsets and test everything end-to-end before go-live.
Support It Like IT
Unlike a telecoms company that disappears after installation, we're an IT company. Your phone system integrates with your network, your internet connection and your business applications — and we support all of it together, not in silos.
How it works
From first conversation to live phone system, we manage the entire process so the switch is seamless for your team.
Discovery & Recommendation
We assess your current phone setup, call volumes, team structure and remote working requirements. We check your broadband is suitable for VoIP and recommend the right system — hosted VoIP, Teams Voice or SIP trunking.
Configuration & Number Porting
We configure your entire phone system — call flows, auto-attendant menus, hunt groups, voicemail, user permissions and CRM integrations. We port your existing numbers so customers call the same number as before.
Handset Setup & Training
We pre-configure IP handsets, install softphone apps on laptops and mobiles, and provide hands-on training for your team. Everyone knows how to use the new system before we switch it on.
Go-Live & Ongoing Support
We manage the cutover to minimise disruption, monitor the system post-launch and provide ongoing technical support. Need a new user added, a call flow changed or a handset replaced? One call to us.

Why choose Cloudswitched for business VoIP?
We're not a telecoms reseller that sells you a system and disappears. We're an IT company that understands how your phone system fits into your wider technology stack — your network, your internet connection, your Microsoft 365 environment and your CRM.
When we set up your VoIP system, we're thinking about call quality (is your broadband fast enough?), security (is your firewall configured for SIP traffic?), integration (does it connect to your CRM?) and user experience (can your team actually use it?). Most telecoms providers don't think about any of that.
Through our partnership with Fidelity Group, you get access to the Horizon hosted telephony platform — one of the UK's most reliable and feature-rich VoIP platforms. But unlike going direct, you also get our IT expertise layered on top — proper network configuration, QoS settings, firewall rules and integrated support.
Whether you need a straightforward hosted VoIP system for a small team or a full Microsoft Teams Voice deployment across multiple offices, we'll design the right solution, manage the migration and keep everything running.

What's included with our VoIP service
System Design & Call Flow Planning
Before configuring anything, we map out exactly how calls should flow through your business. Who answers first? What happens if they're busy? Where do out-of-hours calls go? What message does the auto-attendant play? We design the entire call routing logic based on how your team actually works.
This isn't a template — it's a bespoke call flow designed around your business hours, departments, team structure and customer experience requirements. We document everything clearly so you can review and approve before we build it.
Number Porting & Provisioning
We port your existing phone numbers to the new system so your customers, website and marketing materials don't need to change. We manage the entire porting process with the carriers, coordinate the switchover date and ensure there's no gap in service.
If you need new numbers — geographic, non-geographic or international — we provision those too. We handle DDIs (direct dial-in numbers) for individual team members and configure routing for every number in your range.
Handset & Softphone Configuration
We supply, pre-configure and deploy IP handsets to your office — plug them in and they work. For remote and hybrid workers, we install and configure softphone applications on laptops and mobile phones so they can make and receive calls from anywhere using their business number.
We also set up headsets, configure speed dials, programme BLF (busy lamp field) keys so receptionists can see who's on a call, and ensure every user's handset matches their role requirements.
CRM & Business Application Integration
We integrate your phone system with your CRM so incoming calls automatically display the caller's record on screen, calls are logged against contacts, and your team has full context before they pick up. This works with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics and over 200 other platforms.
Beyond CRM, we can integrate with helpdesk tools, accounting software and other business applications that benefit from telephony data — giving your team a connected workflow instead of disconnected tools.
Network & QoS Configuration
VoIP call quality depends on your network. We configure Quality of Service (QoS) settings on your router and switches to prioritise voice traffic over data, ensuring calls are crystal clear even when your team is downloading large files or streaming video.
We also configure your firewall for SIP traffic, set up VLANs to separate voice and data networks where appropriate, and test call quality under load to make sure everything performs perfectly before go-live.
Training & Ongoing Support
We provide hands-on training for your team — how to use their handsets, transfer calls, set up voicemail, use the softphone app and access the admin portal. We don't just hand over a manual — we walk people through it until they're confident.
After go-live, we provide ongoing support for everything: adding new users, changing call flows, replacing handsets, troubleshooting call quality issues and managing your account with Fidelity Group. One point of contact for your entire phone system.
Why Cloudswitched for VoIP?
IT company first, telecoms provider second. That's why your phone system actually integrates with everything else.
IT company, not a telecoms reseller
We configure QoS, firewalls, VLANs and network settings properly — not just plug in phones and hope for the best. Your voice quality is our responsibility.
One point of contact
Phone system, internet connection and IT support — all managed by one team. No finger-pointing between providers when something goes wrong.
CRM integration done right
We don't just tick a box — we properly integrate your phone system with your CRM so screen pops, call logging and click-to-dial actually work reliably.
Right system, not the most expensive
If Microsoft Teams Voice is all you need, we won't upsell you a full hosted PBX. We recommend based on what fits your business, not our margin.
Network-first approach
We assess your broadband, configure QoS and test call quality before go-live. If your connection isn't good enough for VoIP, we'll fix that first — we do connectivity too.
Fraud protection included
VoIP fraud is real — hackers can run up thousands in international call charges overnight. Our systems include fraud detection and call barring to protect your business.
Seamless number porting
We manage the entire porting process — coordinating with carriers, scheduling the switchover and ensuring zero downtime. Your customers won't notice a thing.
Hybrid & remote ready
Softphone apps on every device mean your team can make and receive calls from their business number whether they're in the office, at home or on the road.
Scales instantly
Adding a new user takes minutes, not weeks. No engineer visits, no hardware orders, no waiting. Your phone system grows as fast as your business does.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about business VoIP and hosted telephony. If you need more detail, get in touch — we're happy to talk it through.
What's the difference between hosted VoIP and a traditional phone system?
Traditional phone systems use a physical PBX box on your premises connected to ISDN lines. Hosted VoIP moves everything to the cloud — calls route through secure data centres over your internet connection. No hardware to maintain, lower costs, more features and works from anywhere.
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing numbers to the new VoIP system so your customers, website and marketing materials don't need to change. The porting process typically takes 1-2 weeks and we manage it entirely on your behalf.
How much does business VoIP cost?
Hosted VoIP typically costs £8-£15 per user per month depending on features and call bundles. Microsoft Teams Voice is similar. Most businesses save 30-50% compared to traditional ISDN-based phone systems. We'll provide a clear quote based on your user count and requirements.
Is VoIP call quality as good as a landline?
With a properly configured network and sufficient broadband, VoIP call quality is indistinguishable from a traditional landline — often better. We configure QoS settings to prioritise voice traffic and test call quality before go-live to ensure it meets business standards.
What happens if my internet goes down?
We configure failover routing so calls automatically redirect to mobile phones or an alternative number if your internet drops. For businesses where phones are critical, we can also set up a 4G/5G backup broadband connection through our connectivity service.
Do I need special phones for VoIP?
You'll need IP handsets (we supply and configure these) or softphone apps on your computers and mobile phones. If you're using Microsoft Teams Voice, you can use your existing Teams app — no additional hardware required unless you want desk handsets.
